Cooperative Conservation
Conferees

In a tremendous show of interest and support for collaboration and partnering to achieve conservation, over 1300 participants attended the White House Conference on Cooperative Conservation in St. Louis, Missouri, August 29-31, 2005. These conferees represented the many individual landowners, communities, conservation groups, businesses, and government agencies from across the country that are voluntarily joining together to conserve our environment. As you pursue cooperative conservation, the interest and experience of these conference participants will inspire and encourage you.

The listings provided below will enable you to find the conferees in two ways, by organization and by individual name.

  • Each organization that was represented at the conference was identified in one of four ways,
    • Federal Agency;
    • Other Government including State, tribal, regional, and local governments and state colleges and universities;
    • Non-Government Organizations including non-profits, private educational institutions, and the cooperative conservation projects;
    • Private Sector including commercial businesses, law firms, and corporations.
  • All conferees, no matter what type of organization, are listed under All Conferees; note this is the only place where unaffiliated individuals are listed.

If you find your organization in the wrong category or have updates to your information, please contact us.
